ISWC will be held at the scenic Hyatt Harborside hotel. The Harborside provides one of the best views of the Boston skyline and harbor islands and is located near Boston's Logan International airport. Historic Boston tourist sites and the financial district are a brief water taxi ride from the hotel.
The hotel is a stone's throw from the airport and can be reached via the Hyatt Harborside's free shuttle or the free airport bus to the water taxi station next to the hotel. During normal operating hours, the water taxi bus is generally the fastest method, and the bus is clearly labeled.
Hotel rates (in USD) are:
| Room type | Cost |
|---|---|
| Single/Double | $189 |
| Triple | $214 |
| Quad | $239 |
There is a 12.45% sales/room tax that will be added to this rate. These rates are only guaranteed until September 21, 2007—after this date, rooms at the standard hotel rate of $300 and up may be the only ones available.

Boston is a great place to visit at any time of year. It is a city filled with history, educational institutions, and sports. There is something for everyone. The Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau provides suggested tour itineraries of many of its popular tourist attractions. If weather is nice, a Duck Tour is always a fun event, traveling in an authentic WWI amphibious vehicle. It provides a tour of city streets as well as a ride on the Charles River with a great view of MIT from the water. The tours leave from the Museum of Science that ISWC guests may also enjoy. Weather permitting, Boston Harbor cruises also provide an impressive view of the city from the many different cruises available.
There are many tours available that highlight Boston’s rich culture. Tours include art, beer, history, the Red Sox, and whale watching. Further details are available at BostonUSA.com.
In addition, there are numerous performance venues throughout the city, including theatre and music performances.
