Reception Directions

A conference bus will take you from the Hotel to IBM and bring you back at the end of the evening. The buses leave the hotel between 5:30-6pm on 22 Oct. Buses will leave around 7:30pm, 8:15 pm and 9pm to bring you back to the hotel. In case you will be coming by car these directions will help. It is recommended that you take the conference bus both to avoid getting lost in the area (quite easy to do) and to make the logistics simpler.

Crowne Plaza Hotel to IBM TJ Watson Research Center Hawthorne and the IBM Industry Solutions Labl (ISL) Hawthorne
Get out of the parking lot and make a left on to Maple Avenue. At the next light make a left on to Bloomindgale Road, bear right and follow signs that come up almost immediately for 287 W towards Tappan Zee Bridge. Proceed to Exit 2 for 9A. At the end of the ramp make a right to get on to 9A going North. After passing a few lights and you will go under an overpass (100C). Approximately 0.5 mi North of the 100C you will see a tall black/grey building, the IBM TJ Watson Research Center (Hawthorne), on your right. Turn in and make a right to the parking lot. You will have to announce to the security personnel at the gate to the parking lot that you are here for the ISWC reception.

IBM TJ Watson Research Center Hawthorne to Crowne Plaza Hotel
Get out of the IBM complex and bear left to get to junction of 9A adn Skyline Drive. Make a left to get on to 9A going south. Proceed on 9A south till you see signs for 287. Make a left to get on to 287E and proceed eastwards and take exit 8W. At the end of the ramp, make a left on to Bloomingdale Road and then a right on to Maple Avenue and another right on to Hale Avenue to get to the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
